Position OverviewThe Parts Runner at [LOCATION] plays an essential role within the Parts Department, supporting efficient dealership operations by ensuring timely pick ‑ up, delivery, and movement ofparts and materials. Reporting to the Parts Manager, this position contributes directly to workflow efficiency, customer satisfaction, and departmental accuracy by coordinating transportation of items between the dealership,satellite workshops, and external partners. Workdays and hours are scheduled atthe discretion of Management.
The pay for this position is $23.48 per hour.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities- Pick up and deliver parts and other required items on behalf of the Parts Department.
- Prepare, pick, and organize internal and wholesale orders as required.
- Serve as a liaison supporting inventory and information flow to satellite workshops.
- Assist with shipping and receiving duties, including handling incoming and outgoing parts.
- Maintain accurate handling of parts to ensure timely delivery and departmental efficiency.
- Support the department with organizational and operational tasks as needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively in a time‑sensitive environment.
- Ability to provide a current ICBC Driver’s Abstract (driver’s record).
- Ability to operate assigned equipment safely and responsibly.
- Legally entitled to work in Canada.
