SummaryThe Senior Marketing Project Manager is a key leader in the Marketing Operations team, responsible for managing complex, high‑impact marketing projects and campaigns. What you’ll work on- Strategic Project Ownership
- Leading and managing end‑to‑end execution of large‑scale, cross‑functional marketing initiatives with minimal oversight.
- Designing and implementing tailored project management strategies, templates, and tools to optimize project outcomes.
- Collaborating with the Strategic Planning team to ensure alignment of project goals with broader organizational priorities.
- Stakeholder Management
- Acting as a trusted advisor to marketing leadership and project owners, providing candid insights on project strategies and outcomes.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with cross‑functional stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout project life cycles.
- Serving as the primary point of contact for executive sponsors, offering updates, recommendations, and solutions to challenges.
- Change Management
- Identifying and addressing change management needs for critical projects, collaborating with Strategy, Communications, and Enablement teams to execute effective change strategies.
- Assessing and mitigating risks associated with change, advising leadership on best practices to ensure smooth transitions.
- Project Facilitation and Communication
- Facilitating strategic planning sessions, retrospectives, and other key meetings to ensure clarity, alignment, and actionable outcomes.
- Preparing and delivering high‑quality presentations and updates for senior leadership, including executive summaries and project dashboards.
- Guiding project teams in effective communication and collaboration strategies to foster transparency and accountability.
- Continuous Improvement and Mentorship
- Actively researching and recommending emerging project management best practices to enhance team performance.
- Mentoring junior project managers, fostering skill development and promoting a culture of excellence within the team.
- Evaluating project KPIs and ROI, providing insights to inform future strategy and investment decisions.
- Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, including at least 2 years leading complex, cross‑functional marketing projects.
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage high‑stakes projects with significant business impact.
- Skills
- Proficiency in designing and managing project management dashboards, templates, and tools tailored to unique business needs.
- Expertise in stakeholder engagement, risk management, and change management strategies.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills, with a strategic focus on business outcomes.
- Certifications and Education
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Recognized certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PgMP) is required; additional certifications in change management (e.g., CCMP) are an asset.
The expected salary range for this role is $109,700 to $148,300 CAD. Salaries are determined by geographic region, applicable experience, and skillset.
