Senior Property Manager – High-Rise Residential
Location: Vancouver, BC
Our client, a well-established third-party property management firm, is seeking an experienced Senior Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of high-rise residential buildings in Vancouver. This is a leadership-oriented role suited for someone who enjoys mentoring others while remaining hands‑on with complex assets and client relationships.
The OpportunityReporting directly to the Director
, the Senior Property Manager will play a key role in operational excellence, team development, and client satisfaction. You’ll act as a trusted advisor to ownership groups while supporting and mentoring junior Property Managers and Administrators.
- Manage a portfolio of high-rise residential properties
, ensuring strong operational and financial performance - Act as a primary point of contact for owners, councils, and key stakeholders
- Support the Director with strategic initiatives, reporting, and portfolio oversight
- Mentor and coach junior team members, providing guidance on best practices and professional development
- Oversee budgeting, financial reporting, variance analysis, and capital planning
- Ensure compliance with bylaws, and all regulatory requirements
- Lead AGMs, council meetings, and complex stakeholder discussions
- Proactively manage risk, maintenance programs, and vendor relationships
- Real Estate Licence is required
- 5+ years of property management experience, with a strong focus on high-rise residential buildings
- Previous experience in a third-party property management environment
- Proven leadership or mentorship experience supporting junior team members
- Strong financial acumen, including budgeting and reserve fund planning
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Highly organized, proactive, and solutions-oriented
- Senior, visible role with direct access to leadership
