** THE TEAM
** The mission of the Digital Merchandising Department is to present product and content to accelerate digital performance and deliver an Everyday Luxury customer experience.
** THE OPPORTUNITY
** Aritzia is growing and our Digital Merchandising team is growing with it. This is a unique opportunity to be part of the team responsible for delivering the end-to-end Merchandising experience by developing and maintaining a strategic roadmap of experience enhancements informed by data, research, and UX best practices. As the (Senior) Manager, Digital Merchandising, you will play a pivotal role in owning the full digital user journey across Aritzia’s eCommerce platforms, with a clear focus on ease, clarity, and conversion.

From our website to our mobile App, you will partner with Digital Product Management, Digital Design, and Digital Technology, and other cross-functional partners to launch experience improvements that support brand positioning and revenue goals, ensuring that every digital touchpoint reflects our commitment to Everyday Luxury. You will oversee a team of world-class merchandisers while partnering with leadership in publishing and performance optimization to drive the merchandising department as a whole.

** THE ROLE
** As the Sr./Manager, Digital Merchandising, you will lead the team to:
* Work with the appropriate Business Support partners to seamlessly lead the day-to-day function of the department in support of corporate objectives, while enabling progressive career development and an incredible employee experience.
* Establish the approach for Digital Merchandising at Aritzia.
* Deliver a seamless customer journey across both Web and App in service of the product and content.
* Determine how digital experiences come to life over a Season, Event, and Evergreen.
* Define and implement site experience strategies informed by analytics, customer insights, and UX best practices.
* Ensure the right architecture, product, and content goes live at the right time, in the right way.
* Maximize digital performance by identifying and driving opportunities for optimization.
* Own the architecture and governance of product filters, attributes, and labels across the site.
* Lead strategy and optimization for the internal search engine, ensuring relevant, fast, and accurate results.
** THE QUALIFICATIONS
** The Sr./Manager, Digital Merchandising, has:
* Proven skills, certifications, education and/or experience in Planning, Placement, and Department Management.
* Understanding of and/or experience with platform integration and optimization.
* Familiarity and/or experience working with search technologies (Algolia or similar) and modern web technologies (PWA or similar).
* Experience managing a small team (1-2 direct reports).
* A commitment to learn and apply Aritzia's Values and Business and People Leadership principles.
* The ability to collaborate fluently with cross-functional partners.
* A commitment to quality and investing in results that add value to the business.
** THE COMPENSATION
** The typical hiring range for this position is $100,000 - $150,000 CAD per year. The final agreed upon salary may vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience. Additionally, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
