Cleaning Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cleaning Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cleaning and supervisory roles, with excellent leadership and communication skills. As a Cleaning Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of our cleaning staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standard.

• Supervise and coordinate the work of light duty, industrial or specialized cleaners and janitors
• Inspect sites or facilities to ensure established safety and cleanliness standards are met
• Recommend or arrange for additional services required such as painting, repair work, renovations or replacement of furnishings and equipment
• Hire and train cleaning staff
• Prepare work schedule and coordinate activities with those of other departments
• Prepare budget, estimate costs and keep financial records
• Receive payment for specialized cleaning jobs
• May perform certain cleaning duties.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a cleaning supervisor or similar role
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to handle and resolve conflicts or issues effectively
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
• Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle is preferred

This is a full-time, permanent position located in Vancouver, BC, Canada. The working hours may vary, including evenings and weekends, depending on the needs of the business. The role may also require occasional travel to different job sites.
