Director Risk Services Commercial Solutions

As a Director, Risk Services Commercial Solutions, you will be responsible for defining and implementing the strategic direction of Risk Services from regional and national perspectives. You will manage the provision of advisory, consulting, training, and education services in the Western Region and oversee the operational functions of the department and staff.

The objective is to enhance Northbridge’s Commercial Solutions Risk Services’ capabilities in risk underwriting, customer safety solutions, and positioning Northbridge as an industry leader in customer experience and safety.

You will provide recommendations to National Risk Services, ensure departmental efficiency, and lead, coach, and mentor your team daily.

If you excel at:

• Conducting comprehensive risk assessments across diverse portfolios
• Providing leadership, coaching, and motivation to staff
• Maintaining professional relationships with brokers and customers
• Applying advanced risk management techniques

And you have:

• Post-secondary education in Insurance Management or related field
• Progress towards or completion of CDS, CIP, or CRM designations
• 15 years of experience in Property and Casualty Insurance or related field
• Experience with Property, Casualty, and/or Commercial Auto
• Previous leadership experience
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record

The salary range in Vancouver is $125,000-$150,000, negotiable based on experience.
