Position DescriptionCGI, the world's 5th largest independent IT and business process services company, is seeking a Senior Consultant - Banking Business Analyst to join our CGI Services to Credit Union team in Vancouver. This role is ideal for a seasoned Business Analyst with a strong delivery background in the Financial Services sector, particularly banking.
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering projects on time, within budget, and to high levels of client satisfaction, enabling new and existing business initiatives.
Your future duties and responsibilities- Lead the development of project requirements across multiple work streams
- Lead and mentor other Business Analysts within the project
- Develop comprehensive business requirements documentation
- Write high-level functional and non-functional requirements
- Develop use case views and detailed use cases
- Facilitate requirements workshops with client and technical teams
- Attend regular status meetings and provide consistent status reporting to clients and internal teams
- Prepare and present findings and proposed solutions to senior client executives
- Formally document business findings and recommendations
- Provide Business Analysis support within Agile project environments
- Communicate requirements effectively to technical team members
- Participate in defining and executing aspects of system testing
- Assist in project estimation activities
- Contribute to strategic and operational business planning
- Support change management and communications initiatives
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Banking Business Analyst
- Minimum 5 years of related IT experience
- Strong delivery background within the Financial Services sector
- Undergraduate degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership, verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities
- Goal-oriented, results-driven, and client-focused mindset
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure
- Passion for corporate social responsibility
- Change Management training and certification
- Business Analysis certification
- Experience with Wealthview Banking and Ovation
CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors including but not limited to skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $90,000 - $115,000
