Eagle Technology Specialist(L4/L5)

Role Description s:

We are seeking an experienced Eagle Technology Specialist to support critical business and technology initiatives in Vancouver, including batch processing optimization, code migration, and system enhancements. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in Eagle Investment Systems and related financial technologies, with a focus on improving operational efficiency and supporting strategic migrations.

Key Responsibilities

Batch Processing Support

oMonitor, troubleshoot, and optimize batch jobs in Eagle to ensure data integrity and timely processing.

oCollaborate with business stakeholders to refine batch schedules and improve performance.

Code Migration Enhancement

oLead code migration efforts (e.g., from legacy systems to modern platforms) while ensuring minimal disruption.

oDevelop and maintain scripts, APIs, and automation tools to streamline workflows.

Business Technology Alignment

oAct as a liaison between business units and technology teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.

oSupport testing, validation, and deployment of system upgrades.

Documentation Knowledge Sharing

oMaintain technical documentation and provide training to junior team members.

oContribute to post-implementation reviews and process improvements.

Qualifications Skills

Technical Expertise

L4/L5 proficiency in Eagle Investment Systems (v20 preferred).

Strong scripting/coding skills (Python, SQL, Java, or similar).

Experience with batch processing tools (e.g., Autosys, Cron, or equivalent).

Understanding of financial services operations (asset management, wealth management).

Ability to analyze business needs and propose technical solutions

Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

oAbility to work independently and in cross-functional teams.

Preferredo

Prior experience with code migration projects (e.g., mainframe to cloud).o

Familiarity with RBCs technology ecosystem (if applicable).

Education Experience

L4
-5 years in financial technology, with 3 years in Eagle.

L5 - 7 years in financial technology, with 5 years in Eagle and leadership experience.

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Finance (or equivalent experience).
