Point of Sale (POS) Business Analyst.

Vancouver, British Columbia (Onsite).
Duration: 12+ Months.
Job Description:
- A Point of Sale (POS) Business Analyst analyzes, implements, and optimizes retail or hospitality POS systems by gathering requirements, troubleshooting technical issues, and improving functionality. They bridge the gap between business needs and IT, managing system configuration, inventory, marketing promotions, and user training to ensure smooth, efficient daily operations.
- System Configuration & Maintenance: Implement updates, manage configuration changes, and maintain POS, inventory, and e-commerce systems.
- Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to document business needs, map workflows, and translate them into technical requirements.
- Testing & Quality Assurance: Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including testing marketing initiatives (coupons), inventory, and hardware devices.
- Support & Troubleshooting: Provide support, resolving technical issues and assisting end-users with system functionality.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze sales data to identify trends, enhance system performance, and provide actionable insights to management.
- Project Coordination: Support POS rollout projects and system upgrades in collaboration with project managers and vendors.
