Solution Architect

Overview

New Value Solutions, a national IT consulting company, is seeking a Solution Architect to lead requirements gathering, testing and troubleshooting of interfaces required for Digital Solutions to exchange data with downstream systems.

Base pay range
: CA $100.00/hr - CA $125.00/hr

• Ensure integration requirements feed into interface design and ensure the quality of data exchanged between the Cerner system and downstream systems.
• Ensure that data is mapped to meet the functional needs of the receiving entity/system.
• Collaborate with Design Teams, Integration Architects, Interface Developers, Testers, Project Managers, partners, and stakeholders, both internal and external, to understand requirements to deliver new integration capabilities.

• Significant prior experience writing design and requirements for middleware such as MS Biz Talk.
• Significant prior experience with data exchange with specific experience with transfer and transformation of healthcare data using HL7 across the spectrum of message types.
• Strong understanding of Clinical Information Systems and Electronic Medical Records software and prior experience with Cerner application and modules suite (RadNET, Power Chart, Patient Management, etc.), the Cerner Millennium database, and Foreign System Interfaces. Cerner Millennium 2018 code level expertise is optimal.
• Strong communication skills with ability to elicit and translate business and clinical needs into interface requirements.
• Excellent investigative and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret interface specifications, workflows, and accurately identify the source of issues through complex patterns.
• The successful candidate will have an understanding of the following services with demonstrated expertise with integrating clinical systems for a minimum of three of the following domains:
  Patient Registration and EMPI, Provider Identity Management and Location Registry, Clinical Orders and Results, Scheduling, Clinical Document Distribution, Medical Imaging, and Financial Systems.
