Technical Program Manager

Technical Stack knowledge on Java stack, Cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP)

• Initiates, plans, controls, and implements medium to large multi‑year projects using project management practices
• Ensures completion of deliverables: charter, plan, schedule, requirements, design, development, testing, implementation, policies, standards, risks, and issues
• Develops project budgets, organizes teams, and aligns resource needs
• Identifies and manages cross‑project interdependencies
• Manages progress and communicates status to stakeholders and leadership
• Participates in strategic roadmap planning and portfolio review
• Excellent communication skills across all organizational levels
• Identifies opportunities for continuous process improvement
• Supports smooth implementation of new technologies and vendor integrations
• May conduct technical walkthroughs with engineering teams
• Collaborates with operations and cross‑functional teams to ensure production stability

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or equivalent experience
• Minimum 6 years post‑baccalaureate experience designing and implementing software projects using open‑source frameworks
• 5–10 years project management experience
• 5+ years experience in retail systems (highly valued)
• Experience creating/executing strategies for complex systems
• Strong relationship and organizational skills
• Understanding of delivery frameworks (Waterfall, Agile, Dev Ops, Lean)
• Ability to influence technical discussions and estimate solution impacts
• Experience with distributed Unix/Linux systems, J2EE servers, clustered DBs, source control
• Excellent presentation, written, and interpersonal skills
• Strong leadership, collaboration, and facilitation skills
• Comfortable challenging the status quo and driving change
