We believe great businesses thrive on diversity, inclusion, and the contributions of all employees. To that end, we recruit candidates from different backgrounds and foster a work environment that encourages employees to collaborate and learn from each other, completely free of barriers.

Your role :
As a Co-op UX Designer, you will collaborate with our design team to deliver impactful product experiences and strengthen our design operations.

You’ll contribute throughout the entire design lifecycle, partnering with designers and getting support from senior UX designers on ideation, wire framing and prototyping. You’ll gain hands-on experience translating user needs into intuitive design solutions while learning industry best practices and have an opportunity to observe research and user testing.

You’ll also contribute to design initiatives (e.g., refining our UX debt backlog) and help elevate our design maturity by developing and refining internal processes (e.g., establishing standardized UX file structures and creating accessibility documentation standard). You’ll build foundational skills for driving design excellence.

Your responsibilities:

Participate in project planning by asking clarifying questions about business needs and user requirements.

Support discovery phases through shadowing, note-taking, and synthesizing research findings.

Contribute to ideation sessions and design deliverables, including user flows, wireframes, and prototypes.

Assist in user testing sessions.

Learn and eventually contribute to improving our design system.

Contribute to document rationale, decisions, accessibility and design specifications.

Attend stakeholders' meetings led by more senior team members.

Collaborate with UI designers to translate wireframes into polished mock-ups

Participate in Agile ceremonies and conduct quality assurance reviews.

Help identify and leverage metrics to drive product management and measure success.

Understand the product offering and its vision.

Design operation

Implement solutions that streamline design workflows and raise design quality across projects.

Lead UX initiatives that help improve the user experience of our products.

About you:

Theoretical understanding of UX design principles and methodologies.

Proven track record of experience creating UX artifacts (e.g. user flows, wireframes, prototypes) through coursework or personal projects.

Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Good communication and presentation skills.

Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.

Proactive in seeking feedback and incorporating guidance.

Eager learner with strong attention to detail.

Nice to have:
