Description
Hi there, we’re Article.  Since 2013, we have been redefining the furniture industry one sofa at a time. It’s not easy — it requires solving challenging, meaningful problems. This is where you come in, as a Delivery Manager (Business Analytics), you will play a crucial role in enabling our Business Analytics & Insights (BIA) teams to deliver high-impact insights, reporting, and data products that support data-driven decision-making across the organization.

* Please note this is a fixed-term role for a 15-month duration (mat leave coverage)

Why We Need You:
Within the BIA department, your responsibilities will span the full agile delivery lifecycle, from backlog refinement and sprint planning through execution, review, and continuous improvement. You will partner closely with BIA leadership, technical-focused analysts, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure analytics initiatives are well-scoped, prioritized, and delivered effectively.

You will be providing support to the whole company. The breakdown of resource allotment for each function looks like:

Retail (eComm/Brick and Mortar)/Category Management = 30%

Supply Chain = 30%

Logistics = 30%

Other Functions = 10%

This role is critical in helping analytics teams navigate dependencies, balance exploratory work with delivery commitments, and continuously improve how analytics work gets done.

Why Article?
As a Particle (people of Article), you will have a high level of autonomy to solve challenging, meaningful problems the best way you can. That means you’re trusted to explore solutions you believe will work best (you’re the expert, after all). You’ll do all this while growing your skills within a company that is redefining the furniture industry.

About the Business Intelligence and Analytics team:
The team is split into two - Business Operations and Data Operations.

The Data Operation arm focuses on data modeling, optimizing the data infrastructure, and pipelines.

Business Operations focuses on translating that data into insights and actions that drive business decisions and performance for the stakeholders listed above. The focus of this role will lean more towards Business Operations.

We are a hybrid team - you'll be in the office 3 days per week (The team is flexible on the specific days you choose to be in during the week).

What You’ll Do:

Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives for analytics teams

Own BIA backlog, including refinement and prioritization. Make trade-off decisions to maximize value

Promote agile principles while adapting practices to fit analytics workflows (e.g., exploratory analysis, data validation, experimentation)

Track and report on sprint progress, velocity, capacity, and delivery risks

Support analytics delivery across BI, data science, experimentation, and reporting initiatives

Help teams manage dependencies across data engineering, product, marketing, and other cross-functional partners

Guide teams in breaking down complex analytics initiatives into achievable, well‑scoped work

Balance delivery commitments with the iterative and exploratory nature of analytics work

Act as a bridge between analytics teams and business stakeholders to improve clarity, alignment, and expectations

Facilitate clear communication around scope, timelines, trade-offs, and delivery risks

Help stakeholders understand agile analytics delivery and set realistic expectations

Identify and remove blockers that slow down analytics delivery (e.g., data access, unclear requirements, tooling gaps)

Drive continuous improvement through retrospectives and actionable follow‑ups

Support the adoption of best practices in agile analytics delivery, documentation, and workflow management

Who You Are:

5-8+ years of experience as a Delivery Manager (Product Ownership and Project Management responsibilities) within an Analytics team.

Strong understanding of data engineering, BI, and…
