We’re looking for an experienced VMware Migration Specialist to lead the migration of virtual machines from a well-established VMware environment to a new virtualization platform. In this role, you’ll combine deep technical expertise with strong leadership and automation skills to deliver a smooth, secure, and high-performing migration with minimal business impact.

• Own and lead end-to-end VMware migration initiatives, from planning and design through execution and validation
• Work closely with Infrastructure, Security, Network, and IT Operations teams to ensure a seamless migration and ongoing support
• Create and enhance automation scripts to reduce manual effort and support large-scale migrations
• Execute migrations while maintaining stability and minimizing disruption to critical business services
• Support and maintain existing VMware environments (ESXi hosts, vCenter, virtual networking) throughout the migration
• Document processes, configurations, and outcomes to meet compliance and audit requirements

• 8+ years of hands‑on experience in virtualized infrastructure, with strong VMware expertise
• Experience migrating VMware workloads to other platforms (a strong asset)
• Familiarity with open‑source and infrastructure management tools such as Puppet, Satellite, Zabbix, or similar
• Proven experience designing and implementing complex infrastructure solutions
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams
• Comfortable working independently while also contributing as a team player
• Ability to adapt quickly, manage priorities, and perform well in a fast‑paced environment
• Excellent communication, documentation, and problem‑solving skills
• Solid understanding of networking and firewall concepts (nice to have)
• Strong scripting and automation skills using Power Shell, Python, or Bash
• Experience with infrastructure‑as‑code and configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Terraform

Salary: $90,000–$130,000
