Position: ISL 15R - Web Support & Business Information Analyst

The Team

The Superior Courts Judiciary (SCJ) Information and Technology team supports the digital services and information systems that enable court operations across British Columbia. Our team works closely with judicial and administrative partners to ensure that accurate, timely, and accessible information is available to court users, justice system constituents, and the public. We are an established and collaborative group that values practical problem‑solving, service excellence, and continuous improvement in support of BC’s justice system.

This position works within a small, supportive IT unit that partners regularly with court staff, program areas, and external justice system constituents. The team’s work has a direct impact on how citizens access court information and services online, and we take pride in delivering reliable, professional, and public‑focused digital tools that support transparency and access to justice.

The Role

The Web Support and Business Information Analyst plays an important role in coordinating and maintaining the Superior Courts’ public‑facing websites and supporting statistical and operational reporting needs. The position works with internal constituencies to update content, support web publishing processes, maintain site structure and standards, and provide technical assistance for web‑based tools. The role also contributes to the development of timely reports and information products that support decision‑making across court operations.

Qualifications
  • Certificate or coursework in a computer science or web design related field and 1‑year related experience; OR
  • Secondary School graduation (Dogwood, GED) and 2 years related experience; OR
  • Evergreen and 3 years related experience; OR
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Related experience includes the following:

  • Experience with web development.
Preferences
  • Experience with databases, data extraction and report development.
  • Experience with web content management systems such as Drupal.
About this Position

Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work up to 2 days at home per week subject to an approved telework agreement.

Enhanced Security Screening will be required.

Employees of the BC Public Service must be located in BC at the time of employment.
