Paul’s business partner and Circle Wellness CEO, Scott Emslie, has built a number of event and hospitality businesses and is an expert in driving strategic growth and creating impactful guest and employee experiences.
Our flagship Vancouver location pioneered private wellness circuits that integrate hydrotherapy, sensory deprivation, and specialized materials. Circle Wellness is now preparing to open its first U.S. location in Seattle. We are seeking a strategic, performance-focused Digital Marketing Specialist to lead digital acquisition and retention across paid media and lifecycle marketing. Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Communications, you will translate business objectives into scalable digital programs that drive bookings, improve marketing efficiency, and deepen guest retention.
This is a part-time, hybrid role at our Granville Island office supporting all current and future spa locations.
Paid Media (Google Ads, Meta)
- Plan, manage, and optimize paid media campaigns with a focus on new customer acquisition, ROI, and cost efficiency.
- A/B testing across all campaigns and scaling what works.
Email Marketing
- Use behavioural, transactional, and lifecycle insights to develop meaningful customer segments.
- Build and deploy both automated email flows and scheduled marketing newsletters.
Website and Conversion Rate Optimization
- Work with internal and external resources to improve on-site conversion, landing page performance, and key funnel steps.
- Maintain a simple, consistent experimentation cadence and documentation of learnings.
Analytics and Reporting
- Report on core KPIs across all digital channels, translating data into clear insights and recommendations.
- Ownership of data tracking methods such as UTMs (unique tracking links) and pixel integrity to ensure performance data is accurate.
- Conduct market and competitive research as needed to inform strategy.
- Support with execution of SEO, and AI search optimization & SEM strategy.
- Support Director of Marketing with digital strategy for email and paid media.
- 2-4 years of experience in digital marketing with demonstrated ownership of strategy and performance
- Experience across paid media, SEO, email marketing, and reporting
- Proficiency with digital marketing platforms and tools (Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta, CRM systems)
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to connect data to business outcomes
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally as well as autonomously
- Experience working in the health, wellness, or hospitality industry
- Experience managing marketing across multiple locations or brands
- Hourly Wage: $35-$40/hour, approximately 25 hours per week
