As an Engineer, you will work as part of a global team supported by our business and architecture partners to help us collaboratively develop and deliver industry leading technology solutions that drive lululemon’s business goals.

As aSenior

Engineer,you will bringa high levelof technical knowledgeas well as strong mentoring abilities.

You willbecounted on as a leader in your technology space as youcontributetoall areas of development and operations (pre-production toproduction).You willwork closely with a Technology Manager, using your experience and knowledge to guide a team of Engineers thoughtheirday-to-dayprocess,and provide a central escalation point for production concerns.

Youwill be part ofan Agileproduction release team and mayperformon-call support functions as needed.

As aSenior Engineer,youwould be a primary caretaker of production systems and wouldmaintaina deep understanding of how delivered products are functioning.

• Are a main contributorin Agile ceremonies
• Provide mentorship andfacilitateengineering training for a teamofEngineers
• Perform and delegateengineering assignments to ensure productionreadiness is maintained
• Conduct research to aid in product troubleshooting and optimization efforts
• Conduct research toguideproduct development and tools selection
• Provide an escalation point andparticipatein on-call support rotations
• Activelymonitorkey metrics and report on trends

  Engineering Community of Practice
• Contribute to project engineering design and standards verification
• Perform reliability monitoring and supportas needed to ensure products meet guest expectations

• Completed Bachelor’s degreeor diploma (or equivalent experience) in Computer
  
  Science, Software Engineering or Software Architecture preferred; candidates with substantial and relevant industry experience are also eligible
• 5+years of experience
• Ability to learn, understand, and work quickly with new emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the Cloud/IT technology space
• Knowledge of CI/CD principles and best-practices .
• Experience developing solutions for retail or eCommerce businesses and other relevant domains such as manufacturing &logistics, supply chain, or corporate shared services
• Ability to assume the leadership/mentorship of Engineers
• Ability to Implement cloud-based data warehousing and analytics solutions
• Builds scalable and modular applications using Java spring boot Microservices architecture for distributed systems.
• Develops robust backend solutions with Java to power enterprise-grade platforms.
