Opportunity:

As a Technical Solution Consultant (Pre-Sales) at VoPay, you will be the technical partner to our Sales team, helping prospective customers understand how VoPay’s embedded finance and payment orchestration platform fits into their product, business model, and technical architecture. You will lead technical discovery, design high-level solution architectures, demonstrate VoPay’s capabilities, and guide prospects through evaluating VoPay from both a business and technical lens.

This is a pure pre-sales role focused on supporting the sales cycle.

Roles & Responsibilities :
Pre-Sales Technical Leadership
  • Act as the primary technical expert throughout the sales cycle, representing VoPay’s embedded finance and payment orchestration capabilities.
  • Conduct deep technical discovery to understand customer use cases, required payment flows, systems architecture, and integration readiness.
  • Design high-level solution architectures that show how VoPay integrates with the customer’s ecosystem.
  • Clearly articulate VoPay’s value proposition, technical differentiators, and business impact.
Solution Design & Demonstration
  • Build and deliver tailored product demos that speak directly to each prospect’s workflows and pain points.
  • Translate business requirements into technical solution recommendations.
  • Prepare architecture diagrams, flowcharts, and solution briefs that help sales teams present VoPay clearly and confidently.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to stay up to date on new features, capabilities, and platform enhancements.
Technical Validation (POCs, RFPs, and Evaluations)
  • Lead Proof-of-Concept (POC) engagements to help prospects validate VoPay’s capabilities.
  • Define success criteria, validation steps, and technical expectations for each POC.
  • Produce technical documentation, API overviews, and integration outlines needed to support the evaluation process.
  • Support product marketing and sales teams by contributing to RFP/RFI responses that highlight VoPay’s strengths and differentiation.
Sales Enablement & Internal Collaboration
  • Work closely with Sales to craft compelling, technically sound proposals and solution narratives.
  • Train Sales, Account Management, and Business Development teams on VoPay’s technical features and how to position them.
  • Collect and relay customer feedback, emerging use cases, and market insights to Product teams to influence roadmap decisions.
Deal Handoff (High-Level)
  • Provide Implementation and Delivery teams with clear documentation of the proposed architecture and customer requirements once a deal closes.
  • Ensure a smooth and informed transition without participating directly in post-sales integration work.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • 3+ years in pre-sales engineering, solutions engineering, sales engineering, or technical consulting, ideally within Fin Tech, SaaS, or payments.
  • Strong understanding of API integrations, RESTful architecture, payment flows, digital wallets, and embedded finance concepts.
  • Confident communicator with excellent presentation and demo-building skills.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into business value for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent sales cycles and customer engagements.
  • Familiarity with CRM and collaboration tools (Hub Spot, Jira, Confluence, Lucidchart, etc.)
Preferred Experience:
  • Prior hands-on experience in payments, embedded finance, money movement, or real-time payments.
  • Understanding of compliance requirements (KYC/KYB, AML, payment licensing) in the financial services space.
  • Experience designing solutions involving financial operations, treasury systems, or banking integrations.
