In this role you’ll find yourself doing these tasks:
  • Work on and resolve Helpdesk tickets
  • Create and triage tickets for clients
  • Provide clear communication to clients both verbally and written
  • Provide the Client with on‑site troubleshooting, maintenance, installation & removal of equipment
  • Recognize and escalate more difficult or urgent issues
  • Create/Update documentation of procedures, run books and network configurations
  • Managing and recording all work through our Ticketing System
  • Identify, Communicate and Mitigate potential risks

Technical Skills and Accreditations:
  • Strong understanding of hardware, software and networking systems
  • Microsoft, CompTIA or other industry certifications an asset
  • Active Directory and Microsoft 365 user management
  • Microsoft 365 (Exchange, One Drive, SharePoint, InTune)
  • Understanding of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, Routing, VLAN, DHCP, DNS, etc.) including network troubleshooting for connectivity issues using tools such as PING, NSLOOKUP and NETSTAT
Must Have:
  • Post‑Secondary education with a minimum of 1 year related experience
  • CLASS 5 driver’s license and vehicle for daily use
  • Criminal Record Check
  • Reside in Victoria or Vancouver BC a onsite work is required
  • Occasional off‑hours and on‑call work to meet IT system demands
  • Experience with ticketing systems, Hyper‑V, Azure, and VoIP considered an asset
