Senior Recruitment Specialist – Technology Practice
Location: Vancouver, BC (Hybrid – 3 days/week in our Downtown office)

Following growth and momentum in our core divisions, we are building a dedicated Technology practice and seeking a high-performing Senior Technical Recruitment Specialist to be a key founding member of the team.
The Opportunity
This role is ideal for a full-cycle recruiter who is passionate about the technology sector, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants to play a pivotal role in building a new practice from the ground up. Working closely with the Division Director, you’ll help establish STRIVE as a leading recruitment partner across software engineering, cloud, infrastructure, data, cybersecurity, and emerging tech.
Responsibilities- Full-cycle recruitment for Technology roles (development, cloud, Dev Ops, data, security, PM/BA, etc.)
- Build and nurture a high-quality network of top technical talent
- Execute proactive sourcing strategies using STRIVE’s Search System (S3)
- Understand client environments, tech stacks, and cultural requirements
- Conduct structured interviews that evaluate both technical and soft skills
- Partner with your Division Director and leadership to deliver on search mandates
- Contribute to building processes, research, and market insights for the new Tech division
- 5-7+ years of agency-based technical recruitment experience
- Proven success in recruiting mid–senior level technical roles
- Excellent sourcing, research, and relationship-building capability
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for growth and practice-building
- Proficient with Linked In Recruiter, Boolean search, and modern recruiting tools
- Strong communication skills and business acumen
- Competitive base + industry-leading commissions + bonuses
- Hybrid schedule (3 days/week in downtown Vancouver + 2 remote)
- Two annual team trips (Okanagan +Mexico)
