Security Engineer

Layer Zero Labs is seeking talented Security Engineers at all levels to join our Security & IT team. In this role, you'll play a critical part in shaping security best practices across the organization. You will focus on securing cloud infrastructure, improving internal security posture, and supporting compliance objectives. We are looking for a team player who thrives in a fast-paced, constantly growing environment, with a high degree of autonomy.

• Conduct risk assessments of internal systems and third-party applications.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to implement security best practices.
• Audit and strengthen security configurations across endpoints, infrastructure, applications, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Enhance security monitoring and detection capabilities to proactively mitigate risks.
• Support compliance and regulatory efforts e.g. SOC 2, ISO
  27001.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS and/or GCP), IAM, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience conducting risk assessments and security reviews.
• Strong knowledge of security principles and industry standards.
• Bonus:
  Familiarity with blockchain technologies, smart contracts, and decentralized finance.
