Data Engineer

Analytic Labs builds Eclipse, an AI-powered data analytics platform that enables non-technical users to query, visualize, and act on their data using natural language. No SQL required. We work with customers who have messy, disparate data sources and help them unlock insights through clean, well-modeled data and AI-driven interfaces.

We’re looking for a Data Engineer to own the data layer of our platform. You’ll transform chaotic source systems into clean, queryable data models, working closely with product managers and engineers to understand customer data challenges and build scalable solutions. You’ll also help us explore how AI can streamline our data operations and improve the experience for end users.

• Customer Onboarding:
  Build and configure data pipelines for new customers, connecting source systems and transforming raw data into dimensional models ready for analytics
• Data Support:
  Triage and resolve data-related issues, debugging pipeline problems, adjusting models, and ensuring data quality across our customer base
• Data Modeling:
  Design and maintain star schemas and analytical data structures in Snowflake, balancing performance with flexibility
• Integrations:
  Build and manage API connections, ELT/ETL workflows, and data sync processes across diverse source systems
• AI & Process Improvement:
  Collaborate with the team to identify opportunities where AI tools can automate data mapping, schema inference, pipeline generation, and other manual processes

• 3+ years experience in data engineering or analytics engineering
• Experience with Snowflake
• Experience with Power BI
• Hands-on experience building ELT/ETL pipelines (Fivetran, Airbyte, dbt, or similar)
• Understanding of dimensional modeling and star schema design
• Experience working with APIs and building data integrations
• Familiarity with AI/LLM tools and how they integrate into data workflows
• Strong collaborator, comfortable working with product managers and engineers to translate customer problems into technical solutions

• Experience with Python for data processing or automation
• Background supporting multi-tenant SaaS platforms
