Due to an internal promotion, we are looking for our next People & Culture Business Partner (PCBP). Reporting to the Director, People & Culture, the People & Culture Business Partner (PCBP) provides strategic and hands-on human resources leadership to E-Comm’s Technology and Corporate Services portfolios. This role partners closely with mid-level and senior leaders to support workforce planning, organizational change, and the effective delivery of people strategies aligned with corporate priorities.

As a trusted advisor, you will support leaders through complexity and change, translating business and operational needs into practical, compliant, and people-centred solutions.

What you’ll do:
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the Technology and Corporate Services portfolios, including business objectives, operational challenges, risks, and People & Culture requirements
  • Partner with leaders to support the delivery of strategic people plans aligned with departmental and corporate priorities
  • Lead or contribute to the development, implementation, and evaluation of People & Culture strategies, programs, and initiatives
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to mid-level and senior leaders on workforce planning, organizational design, performance management, employee relations, career development, and compensation
  • Support leaders through organizational change, including organizational design, evolving service delivery models, and system or process changes, ensuring consistency in approach and messaging
  • Translate business requirements into effective People & Culture practices that support engagement, capability, and retention
  • Provide ongoing coaching and guidance to people leaders, supporting leadership effectiveness and team development
  • Partner with People & Culture Centres of Excellence and the Data & Analytics team to leverage insights and data in support of short- and long-term people strategies
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with leaders, employees, union representatives, and People & Culture colleagues
  • Research, analyze, and prepare reports, recommendations, draft policies, and other materials related to People & Culture programs, practices, and initiatives
  • Maintain current knowledge of legislation, best practices, and emerging issues relevant to Technology and Corporate Services work forces
What you’ll need:
  • A diploma or degree in Human Resources, plus a minimum of seven (7) years of progressive and/or senior human resources experience in a unionized environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • CPHR designation or working toward a recognized HR certification (considered an asset)
  • Demonstrated experience in a Human Resources Business Partner or senior HR Generalist role supporting complex portfolios
  • Experience working in a unionized environment is essential
  • Strong knowledge of employment legislation, collective agreements, and HR practices…
