The Manager of Clinical Excellence and Program Education supports the model and qualify of resident care in long term care by working collaboratively with residents, front-line staff, managers, physicians, Professional Practice consultants, and PHC’s Professional practice leadership. In this role, you will lead projects related to human and financial resources, lead the development and provision of training and education programs to attract staff to Senior’s Care service, actively engage in and support research opportunities, and more.

What You Bring

Education

A level of education, training and experience equivalent to a Masters' degree in a related health care field with an undergraduate degree in Nursing plus seven (7) years of recent, related experience including experience in a leadership or advanced clinical role, and experience in health informatics, quality improvement and clinical documentation. Current practicing registration with the relevant regulatory professional body.

Skills and Abilities

  • Strong knowledge and experience in adult education, program development, and community development.
  • Expertise in long-term care service delivery, including issues affecting clients and service structures.
  • Proven ability to lead, develop, and guide staff in dynamic environments, fostering interdisciplinary teamwork.
  • Skilled in project management, evaluation, and applying quality improvement principles continuously.
  • Demonstrated analytical, critical thinking, and research collaboration skills; able to integrate findings into practice.
  • Committed to resident and family-focused service, role modeling expert practice, and supporting professional growth.
