Base pay: CA $85,000.00/yr - CA$/yr

Flexibility to do Part‑Time (Based on experience; option to work under a variable pay model, including a Fee for Service, is available)

About the Clinic

Our Lifemark OT Consulting clinic is located on Lougheed Highway, Vancouver, between Rupert Street and Boundary Road, a few minutes from the Rupert Street Skytrain station. Established in 1986, the clinic is an 8,600 square foot facility, wheelchair accessible, well‑lit, and offers ample free parking.

Primary treatment programs include concussion rehabilitation, occupational rehabilitation, general physiotherapy, vestibular therapy, active rehabilitation, medical‑legal assessments, long‑term disability, return‑to‑work planning and more.

Your Impact
  • Provide comprehensive, evidence‑based Occupational Therapy services to clients.
  • Apply clinical expertise in assessment, intervention, consultation, case management, discharge planning, education and follow‑up.
  • Perform clinical evaluations: admission assessments, ADL assessments, specialized seating and positioning assessments.
  • Identify equipment needs and initiate recommendations.
  • Consult local vendors on equipment trials and complete funding letters to the Ministry of Health, insurance agencies and other funding parties.
  • Provide education on seating, positioning, independence with ADLs, wheelchairs, adaptive aides and safety.
  • Evaluate restraint use, wound prevention, falls and injury prevention.
  • Record assessment and treatment interventions in the client’s chart.
  • Excel in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Exhibit sound professional judgment.
Key

Skills and Qualifications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of current Occupational Therapy standards, modalities and scope of practice or equivalent education, training and experience.
  • Registered and in good standing with the College of Health and Care Professionals of British Columbia.
  • Newly licensed graduates are accepted.
Other Requirements
  • Clinical experience in brain injury/neurological rehabilitation, mental health, musculoskeletal/orthopedic injury, home safety, ergonomics or return‑to‑work is an asset.
  • Passion for your profession and commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Superior interpersonal, communication, problem‑solving, time‑management, computer and documentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
