FSEAP Affiliate Counsellor – Contract‑based position with Family Services of Greater Vancouver (FSGV)
About the OpportunityFamily Services Employee Assistance Program (FSEAP) offers clinical counselling services and organizational support to corporate clients. We are seeking multiple in‑person/hybrid providers across B.C. and the Yukon to deliver EFAP counselling services.
Work Hours: Variable
Compensation: Negotiated based on service location and nature of services
Location: Various regions across BC and the Yukon (applicants must have own professional office and virtual practice set‑up)
Posting End Date: Ongoing
Requirements Education, Training & Experience- Master's degree in a clinical field (e.g., social sciences, education, health sciences, psychology, counseling)
- Professional registration with a regulatory body (e.g., RCC, RSW, CCC, RPysch)
- Minimum 3 years of clinical counselling experience or 2,500 counselling hours
- Superior clinical skills; understanding of mental health and substance abuse issues; experience with short‑term, solution‑focused models
- Ability to manage and maintain accurate, confidential clinical records
- Extensive knowledge of local community resources for extended client support
- Excellent communication skills and quick learning of online systems (file management, portals)
- Successful completion of a Criminal Record Check
- Professional Liability Insurance (minimum $2,000,000 per occurrence, $5,000,000 aggregate)
