Salary: CAD $51.37 – $64.19 per hour

Job Summary: We are looking for a casual Clinical Pharmacist to join our teams l’s and Mount Saint Joseph Hospitals in Vancouver, BC. The pharmacist will deliver individualized pharmacotherapy, counsel patients, and collaborate with the healthcare team to implement therapeutic plans.

• Provide individualized pharmacotherapy and counseling to patients.
• Collaborate with physicians and other health care providers to develop, implement, and monitor therapeutic plans.
• Assist in developing drug therapy guidelines for disease conditions.
• Prepare and submit case studies or articles for professional journals.
• Act as department resource person in assigned area.
• Participate in medication use evaluations, quality improvement initiatives, and clinical drug trials.
• Provide mentorship and supervision to pharmacy students, residents, and new staff.
• Validate and dispense prescriptions accurately; resolve medication safety concerns with the healthcare team.
• Document clinical activities in the patient health record.

• Current registration as a Pharmacist with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia.
• Completion of an accredited Hospital Pharmacy Residency Program or equivalent experience.
• Broad knowledge of evidence‑based clinical pharmacy practice and medication use evaluation.
• Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and patients.
• Strong organizational and decision‑making skills with minimal supervision.
• Physical ability to carry out duties of the position and operate required equipment.
