Associate Wealth Advisor
RBC Dominion Securities Vancouver Main branch is seeking a talented, self‑directed individual with a growth‑and‑goals oriented mindset to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
What will you do?- Leverage your planning talent to facilitate, in partnership with the Investment Advisor, meetings and events with clients and prospects. Prepare agendas, documentation, execute post‑meeting work and attend client meetings when required.
- Use superior problem‑resolution skills to provide proactive client service, liaising with various departments for smooth, timely solutions.
- Effectively respond to client account inquiries and own follow‑ups.
- Assist in building and executing business plans, client segmentation exercises, and client service plans.
- Identify asset‑consolidation and referral opportunities across the existing client base.
- Support the advisory team with new client acquisition.
- Maintain valuable relationships with Centers of Influence (COIs) and RBC partners.
- Conduct ongoing market and investment research, providing regular updates to the team.
- Coordinate activities with internal Wealth Management specialists, manage documentation, track progress, and follow up.
- Approval as a Registered Representative (RR) with IIROC.
- Completion of the Canadian Investment Regulatory Exam, CIRE and the Retail Securities Exam.
- Four or more years of professional experience within the investment industry.
- Financial Planning experience working with HNW clients.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with business applications/technology, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Meticulous attention to detail, strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
- Highly developed client service skills.
- Certified Financial Planner (CFP) or Personal Financial Planner (PFP) designation.
- University degree or equivalent.

The expected base salary range for this position is $40,000 – $55,000. The position may be eligible for a discretionary/variable incentive payment up to 1.5× base salary.
