Job Description

RBC PH&N Investment Counsel (“RBC PH&N IC”) is one of Canada’s leading boutique investment counselling firms with investment professionals nationwide acting exclusively for high-net-worth clients and small business owners. We provide clients with discretionary investment management and privileged access to the expertise of our RBC Wealth Management Services team which includes highly accredited lawyers, accountants, and financial planning specialists.

What is the opportunity?As part of a dynamic team, you will be responsible for assisting Investment Counsellors and other members of the team in providing daily portfolio maintenance administration and superior service to high net worth clients of RBC Phillips, Hager & North Investment Counsel Inc.

What will you do?

Identify, investigate, and resolve all client inquiries, administrative errors, etc.

Be a key support to the administrative activities and responsibilities of the team E

Ensure trades are processed accurately and on a timely basis

Manage all aspects of account opening and documentation and maintain client cash flows and balances

Maintain records and files and attend client meetings as required.

Proactively assist with client management of appointments and scheduled meetings / calls

Stay current with all RBC Policies & Procedures

Assist other team members and continue to strengthen cross-business working relationships.

What do you need to succeed?
Must-have

University Degree

CSC / CPH

Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role in the Investment Industry

Advanced proficiency in MS Office ( Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Be able to work under high pressure

Nice-to-have

Current enrollment in CFA

The expected salary range for the above position is $41,000 - 60,000 depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate’s experience, skills, registration status; market conditions; and business needs.
