Career opportunity:
Our subsidiary, Harbourfront Wealth Council, is looking to hire a permanent full-time Portfolio Administrator on our Millar Private Wealth team based in Ontario. Reporting to the Lead, Estate & Family Wealth Planning, the ideal candidate must have a meticulous attention to detail, possess a positive attitude, and have exceptional interpersonal skills.
You will be responsible for:
- Preparing account opening documents.
- Processing client account transactions.
- Completing financial requests, i.e., wire transfers and deposits, etc.
- Reconciling client accounts.
- Fee reconciliation.
- Maintaining records and files in accordance with regulatory guidelines according to established formats. Assisting with client inquiries and meetings.
- Utilizing various custodial or third-party software programs for client management and administration. Maintaining client correspondence records and databases.
- Producing timely and accurate reports/documentation as required.
- Assisting with client meetings, preparation of presentation/meeting materials, correspondence, creation of reports, spreadsheets and the completion of special projects.
- Keeping the electronic client documents stored on the network up-to-date and located in the appropriate directories according to existing procedures.
- Maintaining investment forms, product information, presentation materials, investment fund descriptions and historical rates of return.
- Undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in the financial industry,
- Successful completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CS)
- Experience utilizing Ndex and NBIN systems.
- Advanced computer skills including proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel and Power Point) and the ability to learn new programs.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential.
