Key Responsibilities- Combine corporate tax work with structured and virtual learning.
- Get experience in tax compliance, tax accrual review, calculating income tax provision and tax planning.
- Focus on main issues affecting clients, paying particular attention to implementation of tax strategies aligned with their business objectives.
- Contribute to client satisfaction by providing quality, timely and responsive services and work products.
- Demonstrate an understanding of increasingly complex tax concepts.
- Discuss moderately complex tax issues with the engagement team and client management.
- Stay informed of current tax developments and apply tax knowledge to client situations.
- Thoroughly and accurately analyze information.
- Prepare practical and effective approaches to the client’s tax situation and arrive at appropriate conclusions.
- Share tax planning ideas with others.
- Participate in and contribute to achieving team goals.
- Assist in development of recommendations and implementation plans and assist in making quality decisions in complex areas.
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably with an emphasis in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Accounting designation or Master’s degree.
- Experienced Senior—minimum 3 years of CDN Corporate tax experience or equivalent experience.
- Broad exposure to corporate income taxation.
- Ability to research and write utilizing electronic tax tools.
- Excellent managerial, organizational, and verbal/written communication skills.
- Mature mindset, proactive and committed, highly motivated driven team player.

Salary range for this role in British Columbia is $65,500 to $108,000. Individual salaries within this range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and work location city.
