The OpportunityAs a Senior Tax Staff, you will be part of our Global Compliance and Reporting Group. Our group focuses on providing tax professionals with the skills, information, and knowledge to tackle the biggest challenges in taxation. The vision is to grow today’s tax professionals into tomorrow’s leaders. You’ll build a network of relationships that influence major business decisions every day and gain broad experience across multiple tax areas.
YourKey Responsibilities
You will combine corporate tax work with structured and virtual learning, gaining experience in tax compliance, tax accrual review, calculating income tax provision, and tax planning, while focusing on key client issues and aligning tax strategies with business objectives.

- Demonstrate understanding of increasingly complex tax concepts.
- Discuss moderately complex tax issues with the engagement team and client management.
- Keep informed of current tax developments and effectively apply tax knowledge to client situations.
- Thoroughly and accurately analyze information.
- Prepare practical and effective approaches to clients’ tax situations and arrive at appropriate conclusions.
- Share tax planning ideas with others.
- Participate in and contribute to achieving team goals.
- Assist in developing recommendations and implementation plans and help make quality decisions in complex areas.
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Accounting designation or Master’s degree.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant Canadian corporate tax experience or equivalent business/industry experience.
- Broad exposure to corporate income taxation.
- Ability to research and write using electronic tax tools.
- Excellent managerial, organisational, and verbal/written communication skills.
- Maturity, proactive attitude, commitment, and a highly motivated team player.
- $5,000 per year for mental health support benefits.
