- Location – Vancouver, BC – Hybrid (2 days/week in office)
- Working hours – Standard business hours PST
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable professional to join our team. In this role, you’ll manage full-cycle accounts payable, from invoice processing and vendor setup to statement reconciliations and reporting. You’ll play a key role in keeping our financial operations running smoothly while building strong relationships with internal and external partners.

What You’ll Be Doing- Manage the accounts payable and refund inbox and respond to vendors’ inquiries
- Receive, sort and code invoices and supporting documents and ensure accuracy of the invoice information
- Match invoices to support documentation such as purchase orders and tickets
- Process weekly payments run (EFT/wires/cheques) and urgent payment requests: set up payments on the online business banking and print cheques
- Maintain vendor database and verify vendor information, including bank details
- Process refunds to customers
- Process employee expense reports
- Process credit card expense and reports
- Process dividends and shareholder fees
- Send payment remittances to suppliers/payees
- Close accounts payable within 4 business days after the end of the month
- Prepare for accruals for significant invoices received after A/P cutoff
- Follow all aspects of month end close activities to meet deadlines
- Act us back up for other team members as required
- Communicate with internal & external stakeholders to ensure strong relations are maintained
- Assist with preparation of audit information and support
- Handle special projects, responsibilities and other duties as assigned by Management
- Assist with payroll preparation under payroll administrator’s guidance
- 2+ years of relevant experience in accounts payable
- A strong sense of integrity, professionalism and a results-oriented attitude to continually improve processes and systems, enhance efficiency, and contribute to overall organizational success
- Works well under pressure to meet ongoing and overlapping deadlines within short time constraints
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Ability to regularly interact with team members and management to provide or obtain related information
- Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks, likely with competing priorities
- Strong decision making, communication (both verbal and written), and analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to contribute effectively within a team environment
- Advanced skills with Microsoft Office products
Bachelor’s degree or certificate/diploma in accounting or finance is an asset
