Reporting to a Development Director, the team is searching for a Development Manager (Project Manager) to join the FC Live Platform Operations team as a maternity‑leave backfill. Development Managers are the keepers of the project schedule and play an important role in successfully moving the team from one project phase to the next while ensuring a focus on quality, collaboration and communication.

The Platform Operations team is responsible for monitoring the health of the FC Live service, driving actions when KPIs are off‑target, and facilitating the annual launch of FC. This team works onsite in Vancouver 3 days/week:
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

• Responsible for sprint planning, project management, project reporting, and risk management for a team of Automation Engineers within Platform Operations.
• Work with the FC Launch Director to prepare for and facilitate the launch of the next FC title.
• Solve problems, balance priorities, and find creative solutions to achieve results.
• Support the team in executing against milestones and key deliverables.
• Keep the team and partners’ teams informed on development results, schedule, and changes.
• Identifies and drives effective, measurable process improvements to support the team's delivery and execution.

• Self‑starter with a minimum of 5 years of Project Management or Project Lead Experience with production life cycles, processes, and project planning.
• Detail oriented, organized and focused on quality.
• Ability to rationalize decisions in a clear and objective manner.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, tailoring communications to the specific audience.
• Excellent stakeholder and conflict management skills.

• Scrum Master or Agile Coach experience.
• Experience with distributed development across multiple locations.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and certifications.
