Event Manager / Planner, TV / Film Production, Event Staff/ Venue Crew, Customer Service Rep
BC Place is hiring two Event Managers who bring a positive, proactive mindset and a practical approach to problem-solving. In this role, you’ll manage concerts and special events, working closely with clients, internal teams, and external vendors to deliver outstanding event experiences and provide hands-on leadership during event builds, show days, and loadouts.
Reporting to the Senior Event Manager, these positions will coordinate stakeholders and staff and oversee on-site execution from advance planning through show settlement. You will manage multiple projects independently while ensuring operational standards are met.

- Collaborate with clients to ensure successful events, balancing expectations with facility policies and contracts.
- Manage event finances, including quoting, negotiating services, and overseeing invoicing.
- Communicate clients’ needs clearly and proactively to internal teams and manage changes or unique requirements.
- Coordinate with suppliers and department leads to ensure smooth event execution.
- Build strong client relationships, managing contracts, resolving issues, and enhancing the event experience.
- Contribute to a positive team culture, support special projects, and implement improvements from event feedback.
- Lead on-site event operations during show days, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, acting as the primary decision-maker when issues arise.
- 3–5 years of experience in live Event Management, ideally in a stadium or large, complex venue.
- Strong client and guest service skills in deadline-driven environments.
- Proven ability to deliver world-class events in collaboration with department leads.
- Calm, assertive, and effective under pressure.
- Team-oriented, fostering collaboration and inclusivity with stakeholders.
- Leads by example, mentoring others and upholding organizational values.
- Demonstrated experience working with production schedules, technical riders, and event advances.
- Comfort making real-time decisions in high-pressure environments with large crowds and tight timelines.
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
- Skilled at prioritizing, organizing, and maintaining high-quality standards.
- Ability to quickly learn new systems.
- Experience supporting concerts, festivals, or touring productions is a plus.
The salary range for this position is $70,000-$82,000
- Offers will be in line with Pav Co’s internal pay equity and qualified candidate’s experience and education.
