Position: Experience Team (Part-time)

Do you bring the energy wherever you go? Love live events, fan interaction, and being part of unforgettable moments? Whitecaps FC is looking for outgoing, passionate Street Team Members to help bring the club to life on matchday and beyond. As a key part of this role, you’ll be on the front lines—connecting with fans and supporters, representing the club in the community, and helping deliver memorable activations across Vancouver and surrounding areas.

Overview

You’re the energy that brings the Whitecaps matchday experience into the community. From pop-up activations to festivals and events across Vancouver, you’ll create excitement, connect with fans, and represent the club with pride. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys engaging with people, and is eager to jump in, learn, and help make every event memorable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Activate the pre-match Fan Zone on Terry Fox Plaza on match days through club or partner activities and interactive games.
  • Represent Whitecaps FC as a brand ambassador, bringing the excitement and energy of matchday to events across Vancouver and surrounding areas.
  • Engage fans and community members through conversations, games, and activations that create memorable, welcoming experiences.
  • Assist with the set-up, execution, and teardown of Street Team events, activations, and matchday experiences.
  • Share information about tickets, promotions, community programs, and upcoming matches in a friendly and approachable way.
  • Support interactive fan experiences while building confidence in public-facing roles.
  • Work collaboratively in fast-paced, live environments, adapting quickly to schedule or on-site changes.
  • Collect fan feedback and insights to help improve future activations.
  • Represent the club with professionalism, inclusivity, and enthusiasm at all times.
What We’re Looking For
  • A passion for sports, live events, and creating great fan experiences.
  • Experience in customer service roles is an asset.
  • Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Availability to work weekday evenings (as early as 5:00pm) and weekends/holidays, during the day and evening.
  • A flexible schedule, with the ability to adapt as live events are added or change.
  • Comfort working on your feet for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs during events and activations.
  • A general understanding of the game of soccer, or a strong interest in learning more is an asset.
  • Ability to take direction and show initiative in fast-paced, team-oriented environments.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with confidence engaging with fans.
  • A positive, professional attitude and enthusiasm for representing Whitecaps FC.
