Your Opportunity
Our commissioning group focuses on three essential key points for every project from the first day we become part of the project team. Communication, documentation, and verification. These points are integral to all quality assurance applications.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development of project commissioning documentation including Check sheets, commissioning plans and commissioning specifications
- Assist in reviewing commissioned systems documentation including contractor submittals, QC documentation, Vendor startup reports and O&M manuals
- Supporting and participating in a wide variety of building performance engineering projects, including office and on-site project duties.
- Assist in the coordination and implementation of commissioning and performance testing processes and methodologies, this includes effective recording of project details and findings.
- Review design drawings and specifications and reporting to Clients to verify the proposed design satisfies the Owner’s project requirements.
- Participate in active field reviews, testing, issue documentation capture and issues resolution of mechanical, and building automation related technical services within facilities.
- Assist in the development of detailed and concise reports and support the documentation of the commissioning process.
- Witnessing and documenting automation controls verifications and sensor calibrations, as well as air and water balancing procedures and balancing results.
- Lead the development of functional performance test scripts based upon project specific sequences of operation for mechanical systems.
- Lead the effort with respect to witnessing and documenting functional performance testing of mechanical, electrical and life safety systems.
- Support with commissioning related proposal pursuit efforts.
- Participate in project commissioning meeting while developing experience to chair commissioning meetings.
- Attend professional courses and trainings, conferences, and industry talks.
- Support the electrical commissioning activities and desire to develop knowledge and skills to conduct electrical systems commissioning and life safety systems testing (CAN/ULC-S1001)
