Overview
The Asset Management Intern will support the management, optimization, and reliability of company assets across worldwide operations. This internship provides experience in asset management, maintenance planning, and reliability engineering, with exposure to global best practices, international standards, and cross-site collaboration. Intern will learn how structured asset management strategies, preventive and predictive maintenance, and focused reliability-focused initiatives contribute to operational efficiency, safety, and long-term business value.
ResponsibilitiesThe Asset Management Intern will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
- Collaborate with sites in standardizing maintenance activities as part of the Annual Maintenance Plan (AMP)
- Support preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance programs to improve reliability and minimize unscheduled downtime across facilities.
- Provide analysis of maintenance data to track performance indicators for maintenance teams using CMMS platform (SAP).
- Help analyze global asset performance data, including failure trends, Mean time between failures (MTBF), Mean time to repair (MTTR), and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), to identify improvement opportunities.
- Participate in reliability studies, root cause failure analyses (RCFA), and risk assessments for critical assets in multiple locations.
- Support the development of asset lifecycle management strategies, including spares optimization, cost reduction, and maintenance standardization across the global network.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement global maintenance best practices, monitor performance metrics, and provide actionable insights to management.

- Enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical), Asset Management, Reliability, Maintenance or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience in CMMS SAP or other maintenance software is asset.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Interest in global asset management, maintenance reliability, and cross-site operational improvement.
- Proficiency in French, Turkish, or Greek is considered an asset.
This is a four to eight month (starting from May) temporary internship. The salary range for this position is $30.91–$34.76 per hour
. The salary is commensurate with the number of academic semesters and prior co‑op experiences completed, while also taking internal equity into consideration.
