Senior Mechanical Engineer (P.Eng) - Energy Team About The Role

We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer (P.Eng) to join our Energy Team. This role focuses on energy modelling for new construction, energy audits for existing buildings, and project/resource management. The successful candidate will collaborate with a team of mechanical engineers under the supervision of a Professional Engineer.

• P.Eng designation in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of experience in energy modelling and building energy systems
• Proficiency in IES-VE or similar hourly energy simulation software
• Field experience with HVAC systems, including field review and commissioning
• Strong knowledge of local building codes, energy modelling guidelines, construction practices, and technical drawings
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

• Lead and oversee energy modelling for residential, commercial, and institutional projects
• Conduct and supervise thermal bridging and building thermal performance analysis
• Perform energy audits and commissioning during design, construction, and renovation phases
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with developers, architects, designers, and contractors throughout project life cycles
