Process Technologist

Product Development Full Time Vancouver, BC $53,000 - $61,250 CAD per year

Miru is looking for a proactive, hands-on Process Technologist to accelerate our coatings process development. Your mission is to rapidly iterate, generate data, and lock in formulations that perform flawlessly in an extremely sensitive electrochromic window system.

What You’ll Do

• Learn to follow established protocols, SOPs and work instructions to prepare, coat and cure anode/cathode inks for electrochromic test samples and assemble electrochromic devices
• Provide general support and assistance for a variety of activities performed in the manufacturing department on an as‑needed basis.
• Collaborate with Process and Development teams, record and discuss observations, compile data, prepare slides, write/update SOPs and work instructions
• Contribute to fostering a culture of safety and personal growth through contribution to a high‑performing organization.

• Technical diploma in chemical technology and / or 1-2 years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated hands‑on capabilities
• Organizational skills
• Integrity & collaboration; attention to detail and a team‑first mindset.

• Experience working with chemicals
• Experience in working in a manufacturing environment and clean room
• Experience with automated controllers
• Experience using a glovebox

• This position requires full‑time, in‑office presence at our Olympic Village locations.
• Flexibility to occasionally work early mornings, evenings, or weekends as needed
• Travel within Canada and the US up to 20% with occasional travel internationally

Compensation:

The posted range for this position is $53,000 - $61,250 representing the expected starting base salary for candidates from developing proficiency in the role through to fully proficient. In addition to base salary, you will be eligible for our bonus program, stock options, 4+ paid weeks off/year and extended health benefits after 3 months of service.
