TRS Staffing Solutions has exciting opportunities for a Civil Designer role to work for one of Canada's top employers and a global leader in the Engineering, Procurement, Construction Management industry.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare bulk material quantity take-offs and compile tabulated data.
• Assist in the design process and create 3D models for civil projects of moderate complexity.
• Adhere to project specifications, industry regulations, and internal standards and procedures.
• Generate moderately complex 2D CAD drawings.
• Review and validate drawings and vendor documents to ensure alignment with project specifications, addressing any inconsistencies.
• Perform additional tasks as required.

• Completion of a two-year diploma or degree in civil engineering technology or a related field.
• Minimum of five years’ experience using Civil CAD modeling tools such as Open Roads or Civil 3D.
• Minimum of five years of hands-on experience with CAD platforms like AutoCAD or Micro Station.
• Familiarity with material availability and cost considerations.
• Solid technical background and practical on-site experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines efficiently.
• Capable of following design standards, codes, and departmental protocols.
• Clear communication skills for interacting with team members, clients, vendors, and contractors.
• Proficient in using word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software tools.
