Vice President of Engineering

We’re seeking a Vice President of Engineering to lead our 100+ person engineering organization as we scale from Series C to IPO. You’ll report to the CEO, join the executive leadership team, and be responsible for engineering strategy, culture, execution, and scaling the team to 200+ engineers over the next 18 months.

• Lead engineering organization of 100+ engineers and 10+ managers/directors
• Define technical vision and strategy aligned with company growth goals
• Scale engineering organization 2x while maintaining quality and culture
• Build world-class engineering leadership team
• Drive product roadmap execution and delivery excellence
• Partner with CEO, CTO, and Board on company strategy
• Own engineering P&L, budget planning ($30M+ annually)
• Establish engineering culture, values, and high-performance practices
• Lead technical due diligence for M&A opportunities
• Ensure platform scalability for 10x customer growth
• Build engineering brand and attract top-tier talent
• Represent company at industry events and with customers
• Prepare engineering organization for IPO readiness

• 15+ years in software engineering with 8+ years in senior leadership
• Experience scaling engineering orgs from 50 to 200+ people
• Track record at high-growth tech companies (Series B → IPO)
• Deep expertise in AI/ML technologies and applications
• Proven ability to hire and develop executive-level talent
• Strong business acumen and financial management skills
• Experience working with Boards and executive leadership
• Exceptional communication and executive presence
• Strategic thinker with strong execution capabilities
• Experience with M&A technical integration
• Computer Science degree or equivalent from top university

• MBA from top-tier business school
• Previous IPO or public company experience
• Experience at FAANG or top-tier tech companies
• Published thought leadership or industry recognition
• Experience with enterprise sales and customer engagement
• Background in SaaS/Cloud business models
