TRS Staffing Solutions has exciting opportunities for a Civil Engineer role to work for one of Canada's top employers and a global leader in the Engineering, Procurement, Construction Management industry.

• Review vendor documentation and technical submissions for alignment with project requirements
• Provide construction‑phase support, including responding to field questions and reviewing construction and fabrication drawings
• Conduct engineering analyses involving wind loads, seismic considerations, dynamic loading, and complex modelling
• Support procurement by evaluating technical proposals and coordinating with suppliers
• Prepare and review engineering specifications, design criteria, and technical standards
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to maintain consistency and quality across deliverables
• Perform calculations for foundations, concrete works, site grading, drainage, and steel components using both manual and software‑based methods
• Develop cost‑efficient civil engineering solutions for major industrial and resource‑sector projects
• Perform additional tasks as required.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 10 years of civil engineering experience in industrial or resource‑sector projects
• At least 4 years working on mining or major heavy‑industry projects
• Strong understanding of civil engineering principles for concrete works, foundations, site development, and dynamic or seismic considerations
• Ability to interpret and apply relevant engineering codes, standards, and regulatory requirements
• Experience reviewing vendor drawings, civil design documents, and interdisciplinary deliverables
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, track detailed work, and meet project deadlines
• Proficiency with engineering analysis tools and standard office software
