Position: Intermediate Process Engineer (Mining)
Tetra Tech is adding an  Intermediate Process Engineer (Mining)  to our  Process/Mining  team based in  Vancouver, BC   .

Your Role:
Provide expertise through the engineering phases PEA, PFS, FS, conceptual design, front‑end engineering and detailed design.
Interpret metallurgical test work results.
Develop process flow sheets.
Prepare process calculations, PFDs, heat & material balances and P&IDs.
Size process equipment and develop specifications.
Prepare metallurgical simulations.
Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, legislation, and industry standards.
Pursue continuous professional development and maintain a high degree of discipline knowledge and awareness.
Work in a safe manner at all times and report all health and safety incidents and concerns.
Additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or similar in Mineral Processing, Extractive Metallurgy or Chemical Engineering.
P.Eng. designation an asset.
Ability to sign off as a Qualified Person (QP) an asset.
Minimum 6 years of experience in mineral processing, gold, copper, uranium and lithium ore processing preferred.

Experience with metallurgical simulation software such as Met Sim, JKSimMet and/or Bruno.
Some operational experience in a mineral processing plant preferred.
Good communication skills with well‑developed written and oral skills.
Proven ability to work as part of a team.
Willingness and ability to travel as needed.

The salary range for this position is $110,000 to $130,000 per year. Please note that Tetra Tech considers various factors in determining pay, including but not limited to:education, relevant and demonstrated work experience in the role, skills, geographic location, qualifications, certifications, and other competencies relevant to the needs of the business.
