- Deliver process designs that enhance efficiency and sustainability across mining operations
- Lead the development of laboratory testing protocols to improve backfill and material handling practices
- Apply advanced calculations and field data to inform project decisions and optimize performance
- Prepare equipment specifications and technical documentation that meet complex project needs
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and excellence
- Support audits, troubleshooting, and commissioning activities for mining infrastructure
- Collaborate on proposals and reports that shape the future of resource development
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical or Metallurgical Engineering
- 15+ years of consulting or operational experience in mining or milling environments
- Proven expertise in backfill plant design (hydraulic fill, paste fill, cemented rockfill), tailings disposal systems, and comminution processes
- Experience developing underground distribution systems and slurry transport models
- Skilled in establishing lab protocols for thickening, filtration, rheology, and UCS testing
- Professional Engineer designation and valid driver’s license
- Proficient in Microsoft tools and committed to safety-first execution

MB & ON: $123,300 – $169,800
Atlantic Provinces & QC: $122,100 – $162,200
