* * We are seeking a
** Senior Maintenance Planner
** to join our team. In this role, you will lead maintenance planning activities while providing functional oversight and guidance to maintenance and electrical planners and coordinating closely with maintenance supervision to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable execution of work. This position plays a critical role in reducing downtime, improving asset reliability, and supporting operational readiness through effective planning, coordination, and continuous improvement.

The role is based initially at our Winnemucca office but will eventually be based at the Thacker Pass site, located approximately 70 miles northwest of Winnemucca, NV and will report to the Maintenance Manager. Occasional travel to other LAC offices, project sites, vendor, or other locations may be required.
** Key Responsibilities
*** Lead the development and maintenance of detailed job plans, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency are the primary considerations
* Plan, coordinate, and oversee all scheduled maintenance and minor construction activities
* Work closely with Operations Teams to ensure maintenance schedules are well coordinated with the site.
* Provide functional supervision, guidance, and mentoring to maintenance and electrical planners, including assignment and prioritization of planning work, review and approval of job plans, estimates, and work packages
* Review planner workload, planning quality, and backlog health to ensure effective resource utilization and alignment with maintenance priorities
