Your Impact Starts Here – Join our Mine Surface Water Team and contribute to hydrology and hydrotechnical engineering services for high-profile projects across Canada and globally. Your work will help future-proof communities and support sustainable mining practices.
Your Impact- Participate in civil engineering design of hydraulic structures.
- Conduct statistical analysis of climate and hydrology data.
- Perform hydrological modeling, climate change assessments, and 1D, 2D, or 3D hydraulic modeling for flood studies, dam breach studies, and tailings dam breach studies.
- Design baseline hydrological studies, instrumentation, and field data collection.
- Lead or assist with field studies, including bathymetric/topographic surveys and flow measurements.
- Conduct water balance and drainage basin analysis.
- Assist with preparation of technical reports and proposals.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Water Resources Engineering.
- Eligible for registration as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) in Alberta (APEGA) or British Columbia (EGBC).
- Class 5 driver’s license with a clean abstract.
- Experience with hydrological and hydraulic models is an asset.
- Comfort with remote fieldwork and working around water (training available).
- Awareness or experience in environmental science and/or engineering is an asset.
- Commitment to technical excellence and ability to troubleshoot on the fly.

BC, AB, SK, NWT & NU: $66,700 – $88,400
MB & ON: $60,900 – $83,800
Atlantic Provinces & QC: $60,300 – $80,000
