Your future role on our teamBBA is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineering Lead for mine process plants to support our continued growth Western Canada. The selected candidate will play a key role in all phases of engineering projects from front end-studies through to field implementation with a focus on detailed engineering. As a senior member of the mechanical engineering team, the candidate will be responsible for ensuring technical quality, developing new business opportunities, and fostering
team development.
With us, you’ll get the opportunity toDevelop mechanical scopes of work, budgets, and proposalsPerform high level engineering on major mechanical packages such as: crushing and grinding circuits, flotation circuits, leaching circuits, dewateringLead mechanical scope on conceptual design studies, pre-feasibility studies, feasibility studies, and detailed engineeringBe a key team member for small to major brownfield/greenfield mining projectsParticipate in site visits, inspections, condition assessments, commissioning, and testing (site visits will typically be 3-10 days at a time up to twenty-five days a year. These number are negotiable during the interview process)Provide mentorship and coaching of junior/intermediate engineers, actively sharing knowledge, and supporting the enhancement of skills within the teamFoster a culture of having fun at work while producing high quality professional deliverablesProcess plant layout design oversight:
