Salary range: $105,000-$125,000. Compensation considers education, experience, skills, location, qualifications, certifications, and other competencies.

Your Role- Leading the engineering effort to meet project objectives, on schedule and on budget.
- Managing change requests from the client, suppliers, or internals for effect on overall project scope, schedule, and budget.
- PE will work on assisting the PM with the administration, planning, coordination, and monitoring of the project.
- Coordinating with other disciplines to ensure inter‑discipline requirements of design interface and schedule dependencies are met.
- Generating or participating in studies and detail designs, checking calculations prepared by others.
- Reviewing engineering designs for compliance with scope, codes, and standards.
- Building on established relationships with key clients, primarily in oil sands, processing/petrochemical and midstream sectors.
- Building client relationships by meeting or exceeding expectations on quality, schedule, budget, and fit‑for‑purpose solutions.
- Coordinating client meetings involving team members as appropriate.
- Looking for opportunities to communicate as appropriate outside of project work.
- Managing a client’s expectations and discussing the technical/financial aspects in a clear manner with a thorough understanding of the client’s needs.
- Demonstrating a strong understanding of client objectives and project goals, proactively identifying opportunities for follow‑up initiatives or complementary projects.
- Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, legislation, and industry standards.
- Pursuing continuous professional development and maintaining a high degree of discipline knowledge and awareness.
- Working in a safe manner at all times and reporting all health and safety incidents and concerns.
- Additional duties as required.
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) registered in Alberta and/or BC.
- Strong technical background in chemical, mechanical, civil, or electrical engineering.
- 4‑8 years of experience in oil and gas, particularly refinery/processing facility capital/MOC/maintenance projects or pipelines/pipeline facilities.
- Multi‑discipline engineering experience within an industrial consulting engineering environment or at an owner’s facility.
- Experience preparing engineering hour estimates.
- Experience with brownfield projects, mid‑stream operations, and oil sands tailings an asset.
- Experience with buried transmission pipelines (gas or oil), pump stations, compressor stations, or terminals an asset.
- Experience creating and maintaining schedules (Projects or Primavera) an asset.
- Working knowledge of standards that may include API/ASME/CSA.
- Ability to establish and maintain positive client and project team relationships.
- Organizational skills to effectively handle multiple small projects concurrently in a team environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Willingness and ability to travel as needed.
