TRS Staffing Solutions has exciting opportunities for a Senior Civil Designer role to work for one of Canada's top employers and a global leader in the Engineering, Procurement, Construction Management industry.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.

Conduct thorough reviews of drawings and vendor documentation, resolving any discrepancies.

Mentor and guide junior designers, providing technical support and training.

Lead the design and development of 3D models for complex civil engineering projects.

Stay updated with the latest industry trends and software advancements.

Perform detailed bulk material take-off analysis and tabulations.

Ensure all designs comply with project criteria, industry codes, and standards.

Prepare and review detailed 2D CAD drawings, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications.

Perform additional tasks as required.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, or a related field.

A minimum of 10 years of experience in civil design, with a focus on CAD and 3D modeling.

Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification.

Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Micro Station, and Civil 3D.

Strong knowledge of civil CAD modeling software, including Open Roads.

Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in word processing, email, spreadsheets, and presentation software.

In-depth understanding of local, provincial, and federal statutes and guidelines.

Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with management, clients, vendors, and team members.
